& FAQs

“The most portentous fact about any man is not what he at a given time may say or do, but what he in his deep heart
conceives God to be like. “
A.W. Tozer, The Knowledge of the Holy

The Bible

We believe that every word of the 66 books of the Old & New Testaments are divinely inspired in their original manuscripts. The Word of God has been faithfully translated into many languages. As the Bible is God’s Word, it is inerrant, infallible, and serves as our sole authority for faith and practice.

God

We believe in a self-existent, eternal God who created the universe entirely out of nothing. God is One Being, yet exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, whom each of which have the essence but separate functions. Further, everything in the universe exists to bring God glory.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the trinity, is fully God and fully man, having been born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died by crucifixion, fully satisfying the wrath of God for humanity’s sin, was bodily resurrected, ascended to heaven, and will return again one day.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit, third person of the trinity, reveals the Father and the Son, convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers upon their faith in Christ Jesus, and gives spiritual gifts to each individual member of the church.

Humanity & Sin

We believe that God created everything perfectly. As part of His creation, He created humanity in His own image. However, man willingly chose to sin by breaking God’s commands, losing innocence, and inheriting a penalty of eternal condemnation in hell, as all have sinned.

Salvation

We believe that salvation of sinful people is wholly by grace through faith alone in the sacrificial, shed blood of Jesus Christ, done once for all, and that any who receive Christ as savior through dependence in Him alone are regenerated by the Holy Spirit, becoming children of God.

The Church

We believe that the church, founded by Jesus Christ, Himself the head of the church, consists of every regenerate believer that has placed their faith in Christ as Savior,
from Pentecost to the Rapture. Each believer ought to be baptized in obedience to Christ, in profession of their faith, and be adjoined to a local church. The mission of the church is to worship God together, make disciples of Jesus Christ , and be used by the Spirit with the Word of God to help other believers look like the Son of God.
